No harsh chemicals, results in 10-14 days!
This is a method I've been using to get my teeth to be whiter. I started seeing results after a few days, with a noticeable difference in about 10 days.

The photo above is my own set of now-pearly-whites, completely unretouched. Before, they were stained a light yellow from years of eating junk food and drinking pop.

Notes:
1. Use clove oil that is steam distilled or expeller pressed. Never use essential oil that has been chemically derived.
2. Use a fluoride toothpaste (NON WHITENING) that is approved by the ADA or similar organization.
3. Always use a soft-bristle toothbrush. The softness is gentler on gums and tooth enamel.
4. Support your new whitening regimen by eating a lot of crunchy veggies and fruits.

  • How to make toothpaste. Naturally Whiten Teeth - Step 1
    Step 1

Ready your soft-bristle toothbrush. Wet it down like normal and apply an amount of toothpaste that's about the size of two peas. Add one to two drops of clove oil to the toothpaste.

Clove oil is a natural bacteria killer, so your breath will be fresher longer and your teeth will be cleaner longer.

    Step 2

Brush in a circular motion with top and bottom teeth together. Start in the area that needs the most whitening, then move around the rest of the mouth. (It will taste terrible until you get used to it.)

Be sure to brush the fronts, backs, and tops/bottoms of your teeth.

Spit out and rinse with a little bit of water.

    Step 3

Floss between ALL of your teeth. Floss will help to remove stuff that stains your teeth from the edges.

Rinse with a non-alcohol mouthwash. Listerine 6 in 1 is what I use.

  • Step 4

Repeat steps 1-3 twice a day. Continue for as long as you need to until your teeth are as white as you want them to be.

Can Tea Tree oil be used instead of Clove oil? I can't find Clove oil here. I even went to the health shop and they said they could only order it from overseas

I wouldn't recommend it. Its applications are completely different from clove, so I don't know how it would react with teeth and gums.

In stead of using clove oil, you can also just get cloves and chew on it. One or two at a time. In the beginning it tastes and feels weird, but after some time (for me it took a day), you will like it. Not only very good for the mouth hygiene and for whitening teeth, but a long list of other health benefits.
