You Will Need (3 things)

  • Thread
  • CD Felt
  • Embroidery Thread

Steps (10 steps, 210 minutes)

  1. 1

    prepare the textiles to use

  2. 2

then i started embroidering the eyes and a small mouth on a felt like cloth that you may find on cd holders which i used, it took about around 30 - 40 minutes embroidering it but of course it would depend how fast you embroider

  3. 3

after finishing the embroidered eyes you may sew it on the cloth, at the level where you want it to be

  4. 4

after sewing in all the face parts, now we place a white felt lining on each side of the main fabric

  5. 5

then we are now going to sew the inside fabric and afterward you can sew in together the fabric to make the pouch

  6. 6

and this is the top part of the pouch which is going to be the shrimp on top of the sushi, to make the tail cut one end in a triangular shape just like what is shown in the picture and the triangle that you will cut from this fabric keep it aside it will be sewn back later on

  7. 7

cut strips of the white mink fabric which will later on be sewn on the orange fabric to make it look more of a shrimp ^_^

  8. 8

all the pieces are now sewn into place and you could see that triangle we cut off earlier was sewn back on the fabric

  9. 9

now we have the top and bottom of the pouch we could now measure how the pouch should overlap 1-2 inches of the fabric, then sew them on together

  10. 10

here is the finish product...you can use it as a tissue holder or even a cell phone pouch...^_^
