Description

Fun stars for Baby Gift Packages, Babies Room, Christmas etc. Made with Chenille Fabric and Paint with amazing results.

Instructions

  1. I used Star cookie cutters for my pattern. I left a quarter inch for a seam allowance. Using light yellow or tan cotton Fabric cut out your pattern then sew around the stars leaving an opening large enough to stuff in fiber fill. After stuffing hand stitch the opening.

  2. Next dabb brown paint around the endge of the star. Let this dry completely. Prepare some coffee or tea to further antique latter.

  3. Cut smaill chenille stars (These can be quite primitive) then secure them to the main star with a running stitch using a dark brown colored thread. At this point sew on the buttons in the center of the chenille star.

  4. Antique the whole star with your tea solution. Rip a bit of Chenille fabric length wise to use as your hanger. Sew the stars to this! Thats about it. Very cute for Baby Packages, Baby Room, Christmas etc.
