A quick and easy way to give yourself a slightly alternative look...
I'm into Dreads and stuff.
Sad thing about the story is, I'm pretty unable to fully put them in myself.

So this is what I came up with on a lazy sunday afternoon!!!

( The picture isn't the best :( )
It's a mixture of felt dreads ( I have red hair, but I thought, well, f*ck colour harmony! ) and normal braided hair, just randomly placed on my head. Juuuust as mich dreads to not loose patience over. :P
I did not secure the braids with elastics but with multiple thread strands in a third colour ( hair - dread - thread, get it? ^^ ) which I afterwards wrapped up and down over the knot. Niiice effect!

I took some remaining dreads and knottet them around a hair tie, so when I made the half-side-teased-updo, I had - bam - WAY more dreads and nobody could see the difference. xD

IMPORTANT:
Make the HELL sure you're not allergic to the chemical colours used for your felt!!!
I was and I had a veeeery itchy accident after only three days! I was pretty frustrated having to put the beloved dreaddies out. :(
