Nutty mushrooms on toast with a creamy soy sauce & parsley!

This is my Mum's classic mushrooms on toast recipe which was always my favourite and then I realised it was because of all the nuts.

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 10 Mushroom(s)
  • Butter
  • 2 tbsp Sliced Almonds
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Milk
  • 1 ½ tbsp Ground Almonds
  • Bread
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper

Steps (6 steps, 10 minutes)

    Pop some bread in the toaster. Slice the mushrooms and fry with a little butter until soft.

    Sprinkle in the sliced almonds.

  3. 3

    Add the soy sauce and ground almonds.

  4. 4

    Add the milk and cook for a few minutes, stirring until the sauce is thick.

    Serve the mushrooms on toast.

    Top with fresh parsley, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
