Step 1Melt some butter in a frying pan, chop up the mushrooms and onion and fry until soft.

Step 2Add a few splashes of red wine. Add the cream and leave to cook for a few minutes.

Step 3Season with salt, pepper and any spices you want.

Step 4Cook up some fresh pancakes, or buy some ready made and then serve with the stroganoff on top.
