So I found this pattern in a craft book and decided to see if I could make it - seeing as it was so cute! It proved to be quite tricky - you need a bit of patient! But in the end I was really happy with the result. I hope you enjoy it! P.S: PLease don't forget to give him a cute little smile!

So I found this pattern in a craft book and decided to see if I could make it - seeing as it was so cute! It proved to be quite tricky - you need a bit of patient! But in the end I was really happy with the result. I hope you enjoy it! P.S: PLease don't forget to give him a cute little smile!

Instructions

  1. Gather you equipment and find a nice working space.

  2. Cut a rectangle out of the white felt, measuring roughly 3cm x 16cm. Feel free to adjust the size - but if you do, make sure that you adjust the red circle of felt as well. Pin the felt to make it into a cylinder. Then make a pencil make next to the pin/felt. Stitch on the eyes and mouth. Then pin it back in place.

  3. Now, draw around the cylinder onto the white felt. When you cut out the circle make sure you leave about 0.5cm extra.

  4. Stuff the white cylinder. Then glue the circle onto the end/bottom. Leave it to dry for a while.

  5. Cut out a circle from the red felt measuring roughly 16cm across. Now, cut out the cardboard circle this should be roughly 5-7cm wide/across.

  6. Now, sandwich the red felt, then the stuffing and then the felt together. Pull the red felt into the centre and pin. Then sew around the edge, carefully removing the pins as you go along.

  7. Once its sewn up, cut out small circles and use fabric glue to secure them on.

  8. Now glue the cylinder (body) to the 'hat' and ta da you are finished!
