Whipped these up for my daughter and I for a fairy themed birthday party :)
Don't get invited to many parties as a mummy of a toddler so decided to go big for my niece's fairy themed birthday party!
None of this was difficult really, made my satin under dress using a circle skirt method and made tutus for both of us by looping lengths of tulle onto a ring of elastic (added some lengths of ribbon too)
I had a silver woven belt that I weaved ribbon through and made a little band for the top of my dress to cover up some spectacularly messy sewing with some leftover satin and tulle.
The wings and wands were shop bought. wear all this craziness with colourful tights and as many sparkles as you can fit on yourself!
(I also wore my favourite white wig for added fantasy nuttiness)

Thanks so much! The only problem about making a fairy costume is wanting to wear it all the time, tempted to team it with a pair of Marigolds and make it my house work outfit Happy
