To start, crochet 4 ch, join in round with ss Round 1: 3 ch, 17 DC in ring. Close with ss Round 2: 3ch, 1DC in top of 3 ch of Previous round, * 2 ch, miss 1 DC of Previous round, 2 DC in next DC, * Repeat from * to * until you have 9 groups of 2 and 9 spaces, 2 ch, ss into 3rd ch at beginning of round Round 3: START in first 2 ch space. 3 ch, 1 DC, 3 ch, 2 DC in space, 1 ch * (2 DC, 3 ch, 2 DC, 1 ch) in next 2 ch space. Repeat from * ending round with ss into 3rd ch at beginning of round Round 4: START in first 3 ch space. 3 ch, 7 DC in 3 ch space, 1 SC in 1 ch space, * 8 DC in next 3 ch space, 1 SC in next 1 ch space. Repeat from * ending round with ss into 3rd ch at beginning of round End off and weave in loose end at back of work. Note: You can end each round and start a new colour, or alternate the colours, or just use one colour.
