The important thing is to respect the angles and be able to visualize them turning. For example: the angled lines of the mouth, when facing towards you, are the most horizontal. Each time they turn to the side, the more vertical they get. Note: The face is a little rounded. So the perspective should respect that anatomy. The profile is about volume. Now you have to decide how much volume the mouth will have. There are mouths that go forward in the face, even more than the nose, while others go back a little bit. This is not just about the lips, but the way the mouth is placed on the face as well. Also, the upper lip can be more salient than the lower lip, or the other way around.
