This project was so easy to do. I went to Ikea just like the original person did. I found that the mirror comes in three colors. Plain wood, orange stain and dark stain. I chose the dark stain so that I didn't have to buy paint and wait for it to dry. I found that some types of cds crack when you just cut it with scissors, but i found that if you soak them in water for a few minutes the soften up and prevent a lot of cracking. When you take the cds out of the hot water cut a quarter section to work with and put the remaining back in the water. THis is because the longer the cd is out of the water the harder it gets, so just do small pieces at a time. I also used a hot glue gun to put the pieces on. This project was so great on a budget. Because i had cds and a hot glue gun I only had to pay for the mirror and end up spending less than $4 for the whole project!!!!
