  • Step 1

Firstly, take the wire and cut it so it's about 3 inches long.
(alternatively, you could do what I did and buy a cheap dress-up halo and pull it apart)

Then, glue it to the very center of your headband. Make sure its sturdy.

  • Step 2

then get your red ball (i found it hard to find one light enough, so ended up using a polystyrene one and sewing red felt around it.

and either glue it or push it onto the wire, depending on what your ball is made from. add a little glue to secure it.

  • Step 3

Now lie the headband flat onto some paper and draw out the shape of the ears that you want. Add half the width of you band on the bottom. Cut out your template.

fold the white card in half, and rest the bottom of the ear template next to the fold, draw around it. then mirror that step and cut them out. you should have an 2 sets of 2 ear shapes, attached to each other at the bottom.

  • Step 4

run some glue down the fold and gently push that on the underside of the headband, making sure a) its in the place you want it and b) not to burn yourself like I did.

  • Step 5

then fold both sides up, using the band as a hard edge and template. run some glue around the outer edge and carefully pinch them together. repeat on the other side.

  • Step 6

when the glue is dry, draw on the inner ears, I did it in purple, because the colour it was in the reference picture I used, but my boyfriend keeps telling me it should be pink. meh, pick one of the games and just stick to it.

    after that, you're done, kupo.
