I have wanted to do some bead sprite figures from one of the best point and click adventure-series of all time, Lucas Arts' Secret of Monkey Island for quite some time now. I finally got the chance to build them when the postman delivered the big package of beads I ordered some weeks ago. Here you can see the series primary villain, the undead ghost pirate, LeChuck, in his Monkey Island 2 incarnation. Pretty nice and pretty retro, as the game was released in 1991. I needed different shades of red, brown, green and grey to build him. You'll also need some transparent beads for his beard and pirate hat, as some black beads won't stick to the figure otherwise. He measures 27,4cm(height) and 15,4cm(width), don't know about how much beads you will need..I think I used around 1300+ beads for him. Guybrush Threepwood will be next when I find some spare time ;).
