  • Step 1

take a tablespoon of petroleum jelly and put in the microwave for about 30 seconds. make sure it's still gooey and NOT liquid.

  • Step 2

Then, mix in about half a teaspoon of honey (if it's not enough for you, you can add more).

  • Step 3

Mix in olive oil. Now at this step, you'll need to eyeball it. Pour in a tiny amount, mix and if it's not runny, you can add a little more. Whatever makes you happy.

  • Step 4

Once it's all mixed thoroughly, place it in the container of your choice and then let it sit in the fridge for a few minutes so the jelly can thicken and harden a little.

  • Step 5

Once it's firmed some, smooth on and enjoy your soft, kissable lips!

I just made like five different versions of this. I added different things like coco or orange oil. (= It was so fun experimenting with different stuff! Thanks for the how-to! (=

it mixed fine for me. but i only heated the petroleum jelly for a few seconds, so it was still jelly like, but just a little softer than usual. that's when i added the honey and olive oil and it all mixed in just fine.

i tried before to mix honey and petroleum jelly, and to me it didnt work. i hink petroleum jelly is lipophil, which meand you cant mix it with water, and honey contains water and is lipophop, which means you cant mix it with oily things like the petroleum jelly...
did it work for you?
