One of the projects that my blog readers get the most excited about is Mod Podged shoes. Yes, you can actually Mod Podge shoes and wear them! The only tip I have for you (besides picking fun fabric) is to apply a clear acrylic spray sealer when done for extra protection. They won’t be totally waterproof—so no dancing in puddles no matter how tempted you are.

Prepare your fabric with the Fabric Mod Podge. Allow to dry.
Make a paper pattern for each boot. Tape the paper to the boot, and trace the areas with a pencil, making sure to add a little extra seam allowance to the back and zipper seams. Cut out the pattern pieces. Your pattern should have at least three pieces, one for the outside, and two for the inside with zipper.
Trace the pattern onto the backside of the prepared fabric, and cut out.
Working a small section at a time, brush Fabric Mod Podge onto the boot. Position the fabric on the Mod Podged area, and use your fingers to smooth out any air bubbles. Continue adhering the fabric in this manner. Trim any overhang with scissors.
Overlap the fabric on the back of the boot. Allow to dry and then add a second coat of Mod Podge over the fabric portion.
