I did a lazy version with my dictaphone tapes a while ago, where i just thread a chain/ribbon through the two holes in the tape. I love them.. but your way looks awesome.

I'm gonna make one that hangs length ways across my chest so that the ribbon looks like it's spooling off the wheels inside the cassette.

Yeah, if i make 1 it'd definately be a mini one as the big one looks a little weird but love the idea!

They do make smaller cassettes, like the ones for my dictaphone, they're about a third of the size as a normal one. Check electrical stores.

I found a website where they sell tiny tapes on necklaces for lots of money, but I dunno where to get tiny tapes and I always thought that a normal cassette would be too big?

Ooh, I love it. I'm going to make one with my tiny dictaphone tapes. x
