Instructions

This bracelet looks like a wrap but has a back that is solid for comfort. I didn't use any findings or fastenings because the yarn has a bit of stretch to it.

  2. Small 110008 2f2015 07 20 155127 imag00951

Start by making a chain of 21 stitches leaving a 8" tail at the beginning. You will use this for sewing up the back later.

  3. Small 110008 2f2015 07 20 155220 imag00952

Skip the first stitch (for turning). Single crochet in the first four stitches. Then chain 12 stitches try to keep everything flat and not twisted, then single crochet into the final four stitches remaining in your foundation chain. Then chain one.

Repeat the previous step for another strand on your bracelet. If you continue repeating this step you can make yourself a cuff as wide as you like. I think this would make a really cute armwarmer set if you made the cuff super wide!

Using a yarn needle and your yarn ends weave the ends of the bracelet together securely. I use a mattress stitch for a super flat join and then weave the ends in.

Time to show off your new bracelet! I can't wait to wear this little guy on vacation, they always have cute little charms in gift shops and I want to put some on!

Here's a shot of the clutch I made with the wool and the gang kit. I made some modifications.... a little bigger so my kindle would fit, some visual interest on the front with a texture pattern, and a slip stitch around the top for a more finished edge. The hardware is really nice and I am getting a lot of use out of it this summer!

This is everything that came with the kit. It was super fun to play with and the packaging was awesome. The yarn is high quality and friendly to work with and the pattern was super easy. If you need extra help they have videos on their website,.
