I had not done anything arty for a while, so high time to dust off my paintbrushes and see what happens

Description

I had not done anything arty for a while, so high time to dust off my paintbrushes and see what happens

Instructions

1. 

   I didnt use any Gesso on my Canvas board as i wasn't too sure how it word work with the Pan Pastels. I chose a hot pink for my background colour.

2. 

   The application was very easy with a sponge and the pastels were highly pigmented, so a little went a long way!

3. 

   i used a grass green acrylic paint to lie down a base for my grass. Then used other various paints to dot around for my flowers.

4. 

   I found in the end that doing at least three dots made for the perfect flower shape.

5. I used my gold sharpie to add some accent highlights and for some of the centres of the flowers.

6. 

   Here is the finished piece, i'm pretty pleased with it so far! Have fun when you try too!
