Description

In this tutorial you'll see how to create a dreamy background for your art journal page, using Lindy's Magicals and texture paste.

Instructions

  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKvt-c484do Prepare your pages with clear gesso. Add some washi tape here and there to create texture. Slightly cover it with white gesso. Add more texture with texture paste and a stencil. Dry well.

  2. Use Lindy's Magicals to color your pages, first spray water and then sprinkle the pigments, spray more water and move the page to blend the colors. Dry and repeat until you are pleased with the results. You can add black to create shadows, and white to give light to certain areas.

  3. Fussy cut some pieces of your choice from scrapbooking paper, ink the edges of these pieces and also the edges of the pages with black ink.

  4. Add some random distressed stamping here and there. Glue some black thread. Glue the fussy cut elements creating a balanced composition. Splatter white acrylic ink to get a dreamy look. Use metallic wax to highlight.
