Today I’m sharing an update to my grapevine wreath. I decided to use a command hook to hang the wreath this time, and got rid of the old heavy burlap ribbon, and also got rid of the heavy B that I had hanging (it always made the wreath hang lopsided).
Today I’m sharing an update to my grapevine wreath. I decided to use a command hook to hang the wreath this time, and got rid of the old heavy burlap ribbon, and also got rid of the heavy B that I had hanging (it always made the wreath hang lopsided).
For this project, I ran to Joann’s (of course!) and grabbed a pack of striped ribbon, 2 ranunculus bushes, and 2 baby’s breath picks. For the flowers, I used wire cutters and cut the bushes apart and set aside.
It took some practice, but I've finally nailed how to tie the perfect bow to wrap around a wreath! Tie the ribbon in your desired location on the wreath (I liked mine off to the side).
Add your flowers in the desired arrangement (I do this as the wreath is hanging) and use your wire cutters again to cut the stems shorter (if needed). There really isn’t any math or science to the flowers, just add them in on both sides of the ribbon, and fill in the gaps of the flowers with baby’s breath.
