Minty Icecubes

Great way to preserve fresh herbs for cooking or adding to your fav summer drink

These ice cubes can be used as meltable stock cubes when cooking or added to your fav drink. I Used Apple mint from my kitchen herb stash, though most fresh herbs or edible flowers can be used.

You can also mix different herb combinations and use extra virgin olive oil or unsalted butter instead of water, which is great for cooking roasties or adding to bolognese sauce.

You Will Need (4 things)

  • Water
  • Fresh Herbs
  • Ice Cube Tray
  • Freezer

Steps (2 steps, 30 minutes)

    Fill each ice cube tray well 2/3 full with whole or finely chopped herbs.

    Pour water over the herbs and leave to freeze overnight.
