Nail art tutorial are usually super busy and quite complicated, but this one is perfect for the minimalist.

Instructions

Start by painting your base coat and then your base layer of nail polish. Since I'm showing you 5 different designs, I went with different colours on each nail, but I'd recommend sticking to only 1 or 2 base colours.

I'm using a bent bobby pin as a nail art tool. Dip it in some nail polish and create a little dot right near your cuticle. Simple but super stylish.

For this one I create a V shape by drawing lines with my bobby pin.

Using the brush straight from your nail polish bottle, draw across the nail on a diagonal. Similar toned nail polish colours look really cool for this style.

I think glitter polish on pastel nail colours looks gorgeous. For the design I drew a line about 3/4 down the middle of my nail.

  6. Small 108139 2f2015 03 23 175456 nail%2b8

For this last one I drew three horizontal lines, each one a bit bigger/smaller, depending where you start.

Use a top coat. *A matte top coat makes things a bit more interesting as well.

Enjoy the finished look! Once again, I def recommend sticking to only a few colours at a time.
