awesome idea! But I decided to take it to the nest extreme and knit using extra long pins and thread. I'm concentrating so hard my eyes are watering XDD but it's so worth it. I'm doing it rainbow striped!! Happy

Jasmin I thought you were gonna say you put varnish on them cuz they splinters not cuz of an allergy to wood! So the varnish works in two ways! Go me!

i had to put varnish over my toothpick/needles, im allergic to wood (stares a puff hands) should have remembered that.

it wasn't actually I thought i'd never be able to make it work cuz of how small everything was and definatly thought the tooth picks would splinter. Sometimes the thread would catch a little bit but not as bad as I thought. I was knitting quite tightly and it still worked!

I'll be making stuff as embellishments for cards and stuff but I think complicated stuff might make them snap, when I increase stiches the knitting always goes really tight! For stuff like that I'll definatly have to have painted ones.
