These are really quick and easy to make if you know how to do peyote or brick stitch. Simply stitch the motif and glue onto a hair clip. They also work nicely as earrings or phone/bag charms.

Description

These are really quick and easy to make if you know how to do peyote or brick stitch. Simply stitch the motif and glue onto a hair clip. They also work nicely as earrings or phone/bag charms.

Instructions

  1. Small 107044 2f2015 01 23 144316 dscf1758

Working in either brick stitch or peyote, stitch a motif in your choice of delica beads. Finish off the thread ends by working them through some of the beads. Make 2.

  2. Small 107044 2f2015 01 23 144330 dscf1756

Place a small amount of glue onto the flat pad of the hair clip and press the motif to it, making sure to get the motif the right way up. Clip together with a peg and leave to dry.

If you want to use them as earrings simply stitch a loop of beads at the top of the motif using the tail end of the thread, and attach to an ear wire.
