Instructions

  1. Small 1835

Take a good sized box or preferably a 3D frame.

  2. Small 1836

Remove the back and draw where a window should be.

  3. Small 1837

Take a sharp knife and a ruler.

  4. Small 1838

Cut out the window you drew.

  5. Small 1839

Paint the inside of the frame or box.

  6. Small 1840

Print out a pretty pattern on to paper, this will be the wallpaper.

  7. Small 1841

Cut the paper to the shape of the back wall.

  8. Small 1842

Glue it down and leave to dry.

  9. Small 1843

Stick some strong glue on the base of your box / frame.

  10. Small 1844

Stick down a piece of carpet. If you don't have any spare carpet you could use some thick fabric or sew a little patchwork rug.

  11. Small 1845

Pierce two holes at either side of the window, just above the top.

  12. Small 1846

    Cut two lengths of wire.

  13. Small 1847

Wrap another length of wire around the two.

  14. Small 1848

Cut two more shorter lengths of wire.

  15. Small 1849

Wrap the middle in a loop around the bar you made earlier and then slip off.

  16. Small 1850

Place these two loops through the holes on the back wall and secure at the back.

  17. Small 1851

Cut two rectangles of fabric, these will be the curtains.

  18. Small 1852

Stitch part of the fabric over the bar to make a loop.

  19. Small 1853

Slip the curtains on to the bar.

  20. Small 1854

Attach a bead at either side of the bar to secure the curtains.

  21. Small 1855

Cut two strips of fancy ribbon and glue them around the edges of the box / frame.

  22. Small 1856

Print out some photos, one of an outside scene and some for the walls.

  23. Small 1857

Stick the outside scene on the outside of the window facing in.

  24. Small 1858

Fold the wire in to an oval and wrap the ends around the middle.

  25. Small 1859

Take two more lengths of wire, these will be the legs.

  26. Small 1860

Make legs by folding the wire in to loops at the end and then attach to the chair.

  27. Small 1861

Wrap more wire all over the chair to make it in to a seat.

  28. Small 1862

Cut a square of fabric and stitch it together to make a cushion. Place it on the chair and put the chair in the doll house. All done, more fun doll house projects coming soon.
