sorta-faux metal finish
I made these when I ran out of pretty clay and needed to use up my ugly scrap.

I took textured objects I found around the house (a drill bit, fork handle, bottom of my husbands shoe...) and pressed them into the clay, cut them out and pieced them together. After they were baked I rubbed metallic craft paint on them and sealed them with clear acrylic.
