Want an easy, inexpensive way to have new clothes? Make them! And what a better way than from an old item of clothing. I took my husband's shirt and made it into a dress for me!
Lay the shirt flat and fold in half. Cut out the sides according to your measurements at your breasts, waist, hips and butt. Unfolded it should look like this picture.
Cut strips in coordinating material and sew into the sides of the shirt. You can measure while wearing it or using a measuring tape, but measure for your body.
Do any hemming if needed, otherwise, you're done!
