To remember those I've loved and lost...
I painted the pendant brown, went over it with a crackle finish, then put a turquoise top coat. When the paint dried, I went over it with Diamond Glaze and attached the photo and Swarovski crystals. I put one more layer of Diamond Glaze on the photo, then hot glued the cross. The hole for the jump ring was made with a nail and hammer.

I love this photo because it is from when my grandfather was an airman in the Navy. He is in his uniform. It is one of the first photos of my grandparents together. I did a little photo editing, which is difficult to see from the photo, to make the photo look older.

I created this pendant in memory of my grandmother. Thank you for the opportunity to share my memories.

Thank you, Jet H. Going through photos to find the right one really brought up some fun times. I now get to make another one for a friend who recently lost her mother.
