Start by painting a triangle shape with just water. When the water has soaked in to your paper a little, paint a vibrant pink, starting from the edges, so it bleeds in to the middle of the triangle. You can tilt your paper a little here to help the paint move around!
Wait until your first layer is dry and then using the same technique, paint the side of the melon.
When your pink areas of the watermelon are painted and dry, you can use the wet on wet technique again with the bottom of the fruit. use a green to paint a line along the edge and watch it blend in to the water area. You can add a touch of yellow and some white too.
Once your painting is dry, use a small brush to paint on some black seeds, then you are done!
