I was eating melkkos for dinner and realised that there are no South African food recipies on the site, so I decided to add one. "Melkkos" literally means "milk food" and is very yummy. This recipe serves about 4 people.

Slowly heat the milk in a 4l or larger pot until it reaches boiling point. Don't leave it unnattended.
Mix flour and salt and add the whole mixture at once to the milk. Beat with a whisk or mixer until small lumps have formed.
Boil mixture over low heat until fully cooked (approx. 25 minutes), stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon to prevent it from burning.
Dish up in a cereal bowl and add cinamon sugar to your liking. Enjoy =]
