Description

Here is my how to. Hope you like it.

Instructions

  1. Small snapshot 20120730 11

take any amount of army green clay and roll it and condition it with your hands. for about 10 minutes or more. very important!!!!

  2. Small snapshot 20120730 9

Take the already conditioned green clay and make many tiny balls. set all but one aside. take that one ball and roll it in your hands into a long log like shape. Twist this long log shape like if you were twisting you hair around and around like curly hair.

  3. Small snapshot 20120730 9

put those curly locks to the side. take your mold of a face and put a flat piece of translucent clay in the face mold. flatten the clay to the mold very thoroughly. lightly unpeal the wad of white clay from mold. add carefully the twists of green. as you add the twists to the skull make sure you slightly flatten out the ends of the twists. so they appear to look like snake heads. then

  4. Small snapshot 20120730 11

take an x-acto knife and make a small incision line where the individual snake's mouth would be. then make two single dots for the eyes on the snake.

  5. Small snapshot 20120730 10

next add a head pin or a crafting/ jewelry making pin. make sure its pretty long. center it through the center of medusa's skull. behind her face. make sure it stays put. if it feels loose just put strong bakable glue on the pin and put it back in medusa.

follow baking directions closely and viola! you are done. enjoy!!
