Maternity Jeans Skirt
I took the idea and part of a pattern which I've seen in a "Burda" magazin, altered it to fit my not-so-petite size;-).
Instead of the top part with a zipper, I added about 20 cm of Lycra fabric to have room for my growing baby belly.

At the bottom of the skirt I sewed a white cotton hem with a lace finish.

The tricky part was to add the white lace trim in between the fabric parts..which took me hours and a lot of undoing and resewing..

It sort of reminds me of a greyscale Black-Eyed Susan with the baby (bump) being the domed center where the drooping petals sprout from.
