An art project from my "Fabric as Form" class
I was in a class in Fall 2014 and one of our projects was to make a sculpture using ALL of 5 yards of muslin fabric. With a pillow, some cardboard, embroidery thread, styrofoam head, a fan stand, and umbrella, I constructed this beauty. Nowadays she just hangs out in my room, welcoming guests. I used mostly recycled materials. I did have to buy the styrofoam head and spray paint for the base.
