can you do it on a real nail?

i didn't watch the first time the movie, but i'm impressed of the greate tute you have made, so i thought i must tell you this too.
still love this project, thank you very much for the great tute you made and the sharing, i will try this out not on my nails but on other materials.LOL;-D

Yep! I've done it both ways. Take some scotch tape and tape off your finger so its just your nail showing. Then dip away!

wow!!!!!! do ya think i could just stick my actual nail in it and it would come out like that i dont need fake nails right?...well im gonna try lol
