I decided to make OWL wings for Halloween with the feathers I do and some black fake fur. I sewed the feathers onto a light materials as I was pulling things from scraps of what I had lying around. A ticker material would probally work, I lined the wings with a heavy soft material in black, making two sided wings would be totally possible, I will make a how to on that lter on with some Artisic/realistic points that can help make em look less Halloween store Angel like. On the upside these could be washed - this has some card board inside so you'd need to remove that first but yeah these are machine washable.
