    Gather the materials you'll need for the project.

    Cut out a larger shape of fabric
    (Note: This will not be used for the exterior of your bag. Otherwise string pieces will show through your finished bag). Then cut out a smaller shape of fabric and put it on top of it. Fold in the sides and iron them to be pressed down neatly

    Cut out an even smaller square to be used as a pocket and fold in three sides then pin them down. Leave one side unfolded for the opening of the pocket.

    Cut out a piece of plastic to be used for the lipgloss/lipstick pockets and pin them down. Put your lipgloss in the pocket to see if it can fit. Sew a slightly larger pocket for an extra pocket to put even more lipgloss or mascara in.

    After sewing the pockets onto the red and white fabrics, cut out a bigger piece of fabric for the exterior of the bag and sew the fabrics together. Fold in the fabric pieces to avoid loose string pieces from the material before you sew.

    Your bag should look like this once you've sewn the sides in.

    Step 7

    Add ribbon, lace or any long piece of fabric and glue it to the bag of the make-up organizer.

    Add any extra decorations to your bag if you desire.

    Tie the ribbon to close the bag and you'll have your very own handy make-up organizer bag
