• 

  Step 1

  Find an old lamp!
  I have had this touch lamp in my wardrobe for years but you can also find cheap ones from local op shops.

  Step 2

  Take of the lap shade, as you wont be using this

• 

  Step 3

  Spray paint the lap base! I used metalic titanium.
  Make sure you tape the cord covering the remaning with newspaper and insert scrunched up newspaper in the socket area.

  Step 4

  I purchased a chandelier shade from my local bunnings (home hardware store in Australia)

  Step 5

  And Voila!
