THis is so cool..do u think this would work on half size jeans? because i accidently bought a size 1/2 at the store and i was thinking about taking them back (its probably too late) i like them though..and do u think i could try to do this without a sewing machine?...i dont have one..lol
i just love skinny jeans but my mom wont pay the money to get them so if i want skinny jeans i have to pay for them my self and i am running out of money so i decided to take my other jeans that arent skinnies and make them into skinnies and it is so easy
I have always had problems with jeans and pants fitting. Although I did not try your particular "How To" I altered 3 pairs of pants and I love them now! My biggest problem is that they have to be too big in the waist in order to fit my thighs. I'm sure this is a common problem for all us girls.

i love thrift store shopping and resizing my el-cheapo jeans like this but i have a terrible problem with the crotch fabric getting reeallly paper-thin : which obviously leads to holes and stuff : :
Thats great! Thought about this before but without reading your tut i probably would have forgotten this part >> "If you need to make your jeans an inch tighter, sew the inseam a half inch from the edge" and ended up with teeny jeans!

UGH, thank you! I'm a [much] bigger girl, with a very large backend area and it doesn't really matter to me... its just that I can never find pants that pit perfectly. This is going to help so much! Thank you
