You Will Need

Step 1Gather new or vintage pins with a silver and rhinestone theme.

Step 2Search online for a necklace shape you like. Enlarge and print out. Arrange your pins to see if the shape will work.

Step 3Cut out the shape and use it as a pattern for the necklace backing. In my case, I cut two pieces of scrap fabric and sewed them together with felt in the middle to add stiffness. Turn right side out. Tuck ribbons into each end and stitch shut.

Step 4Use clip earrings to blend the ribbon with the necklace. Pin your brooches to the necklace. You can remove or reuse the pins. This necklace will not damage your vintage jewelry.
