Don't you just HATE trying to find your friends the "perfect gift", and you can't think of anything? You want somehting personal, but something cool. A lot of people hate nic-naks, so those are out. You can't buy clothes because, what if they don't fit? Or what is they don't like it? What if you don't have the money? SOLUTION!: Make a personalized PUZZLE! They are easy and fun and they are something that will be kept for a LONG time! :D

Instructions

  1. Small 19180

Buy a cheapo puzzle at someplace like Good Will or the 99cent store.

  2. Small 19181

Pick a picture, any picture, and crop it or adjust the size to fit your puzzle. If your puzzle is to wide for your picture, you can put a funky background on the sides or whatever its needed [I don't suggest a solid color, because it would be aweful difficult to put it together].

  3. Small 19182

Print out the picture [you can use photo paper, glossy or satin and whatnot, but I'm cheap. I'll use normal printer paper]. Put the puzzle together and glue YOUR picture onto the front.

  4. When it dryes, turn it over and place it on a cutting board or a mat you don't mind having a bunch of cuts in. With an exacto knive, carefully trace around all of the edges of the puzzle pieces. You can go pieces by pieces and take each off individually and push the edges down, or you can just cut all of the edges and then do it. I did the piece by piece and it worked pretty good for me.

  5. Now just re-complete the puzzle and you are good to go. :D If you want the puzzle box to match as well, I'd just mod-podge the hell out of it and stick another picture onto the front of the box. Simple and easy peasy. :D
