I got bored last summer and decided to make a scythe to complete my Maka Albarn cosplay. I made it from cardboard, PVC pipes, sculpey clay, masking tape and then I used silver spray paint fro the shaft and I accidentally used oil based paint on the blade and the eye so it took about three weeks to complete the paint job because it had to dry before I could continue and it took about a week and a half to do so. But if you make it with acrylic paint or anything else that doesn't take forever to dry, then you could make it in about two days.
