Whoever thought those annoying ads in magazines would come in handy?

My sewing teacher showed me an article about how some students had made a corset from magazine pieces and fusible interfacing but instead of making a corset I decided to make a bag which is much more useful to me. It took a long, long, long, long time! But it all depends on how big your bag is and how big your magazine pieces are. Some time I will take the time to put up a tutorial but for now I can tell you that I started by gluing the magazine pieces onto the fusible interfacing and then ironing that after I was completely done gluing the pieces onto the interfacing(and yes you can iron paper on a low setting and make sure your glue is dry before ironing ;p). I then covered the magazine fabric in a matierial that is used for couch covers and can be bought by the yard at a store like Jo-Ann fabrics. I know it's not the greatest explaination but I will make it better. This bag turned out really sweet but it isn't the most sturdy so I am also going to work on that and if anybody has any ideas to help make it better that would be much appreciated!
