A week ago I while I was cleaning my house, I noticed piles of old magazines lying at the desk. The best way to keep our home clutter free is to get rid of old and unwanted stuffs . It will be a good idea to throw away old stuffs but it will be a better option to make some useful stuff out of it. Even you might have your counter top cluttered with old magazines. Well I have a solution to your problem. Why not make a flower vase out of it? THINGS YOU WILL NEED Magazine papers Fevicol / Normal glue Scissors Tear out as many magazine pages as you can. Then make small rods out of it by folding from one end of the magazine to the other and sticking the ends with glue, as shown in the figure. When you have made the rods as many as you can, you can go ahead with the first step in making the vase. Now take one rod and start rolling tightly. When you are finished with the first rod stick another rod to the first rod and continue rolling. When you have got the desired base diameter, shift the next rod half way above the base and continue rolling. The more wide you want the vase to be , you must continue adding more and more rods on top. If you want a narrow shape then you should use lesser number of layers. You can also make use of a glass or a small bowl to get the desired shape. If you want a fully water proof vase you can apply a coat of polyester resin or you can also use varnish to coat the vase.

Add a coat of varnish and then painted with blue colors.
