I made this doll for my cousin, Mackenzie, who was born with "HLHS" which is a rare heart disease which means that half of the heart is not able to function at all. She is two years old and had her fourth open heart surgery 3 months ago. She is still in the hospital and since the holidays are coming up I decided to make her this doll made ENTIRELY out of yarn, an inch of string, and two buttons!
