My friend Sheila was having her birthday and i had seen this idea on the blog of freepretty thngsforyou .com, and thought that's a fun great idea for making this for a dear friend. I had still some old little match boxes and thought that will help to clean as well for my moving.LOL so thank you fellow crafting person for share this with us;_D At first i thought i will use the crafters idea , so i don't have to do a lot, i was short in time. to many birthday girls in one month.LOL But after all i used only the idea and one picture the rest was all mine. Always the same and because i liked the crafting tooo much it cost me more time after all.;-D i think this is sooo sweet to get and hold in your bag for when you're feeling badly and watch it. i think you can use it as a love messages as well. Note the most time cost me making the patterns and finding the right pictures. and of course the drying time. the time is without that. I have use after all hair spray to varnish the card and the outside. it's not necessary. The time is without the drying time.;-D by the attachement there are some wrong ones in that , the start luciferdoosje don't use it.!!! the 2 first one are the same, only use one of them;-D i have done others in it with an other sturcture , not all of us has photoshop;-D Have fun with the making of, there are lots of steps but they only will show you the how to much better so don't be afraid.LOL hey thanks for hopping by!!!;-D

Search for an empty small matchbox
Glue with white glue or wood glue the hole outside of the box with design paper which will be matching with the vitage poetry images loos you will use.
By the tute of pretty little things there where some pictures, which i made smaller by resizing them on the computer., You can use mine pictures that i had given the resizes measures or use an other one you have. and has the right measures to glue the birdy on the outside on the design paper.
Colour the birdy and the blank paper with colour pencils to make it more matching with the design paper .
Give some parts of the bird some accents with makers
Glue the smaller cut piece of the bird on top of the box and with a small sharpie pen write the name of your friend on it.
Make with some scraps of paper the inside pattern of the drawer., or use mine.;-D
Draw the pattern on a nice colour of paper and cut it out.
Fold the lines.
no 10. Pick an other vintage poetry image for to use in the inside of the drawer. Glue it down on a piece of paper . and colouring it with markers , sharpies and so on.
Cut t out he picture of the coloured paper. Add some glitter on the picture. When you use such a small glue stick you can work very fine with the glitter. but you can use other glue or glitter glue as well.;-D
Glue the picuter on the inside of the coloured paper.
Glue this in the inside of the drawer. You can use the hair spray for t he varnish layer if you want.;-D
Now start with making the pattern for the small envelope , or use mine.
Cut out the shape of the envelope of coloured paper.
Folding the two sides to t he middle .
Do the same with the other sides but they must overlap each other. watch the picture.
Cut a small strip of paper and glue it down at the middel so all the part , except the top will be glued together.
At the front you can work with some paper and markers to make it much nicer and draw a small stamp. be creative. and write down your text.
Making the small card. Make of a small piece of paper a card that will fit in the inside of your tiny envelope. or .... use mine. and search for a small picture you can use on the card. Glue the picture on the card and coloured with like you did with the other pictures.
When you're done with all those parts i liked it to give all the parts some golden and silver accents with my 3d acrylic paint.
Now you're almost done;-D pick the the envlope and card and put the card in the envelope.
liked it to glue on the backside like it is a closuring a small ribbon rose. Glue on the rose a small piece of the double sided tape.
And hold the last layer of the tape off and stick it on the middle of the backside of the envelope
Put the envelope in the drawer and close the box ,now your ready to give your message box away or put it in an big envelope and send it to your dearest friend;-D be creative you can make your own design or use my pictures . have fun with this paper recyling craft , i'm sure that your friends will love it and you even more.;-D
