A fun way to make a Valentine's Day card.
Cut a white piece of construction paper to a desired card size or shape.
Cut out a heart shape to use as a stencil.
Trace 3 hearts at the top of white piece of paper starting with the center heart.
Trace the other 2 hearts evenly on the sides of the center heart.
After 3 hearts are traced, cut a long oval piece to use as stencil for the bottom part of the card.
Trace oval long piece on the bottom of paper under hearts.
Find a cardboard box so that you do not cut your table and place white paper on it.
Using a box cutter, cut out your traced heart and oval shapes out of the white paper.
Using the white paper now with shapes cut out, place over pink paper to determine where the pink will show through and place packaging tape in those areas. (this will give the scratch surface)
Using a sharpie, draw I LUV U in the 3 hearts and My Heart in the oval area. (Sorry I didn't have a picture of it before)
Pour one part silver acrylic paint in a cup.
The pour 2 parts liquid dish detergent in the cup with silver paint and mix both together.
Paint mixture over the areas where you placed packaging tape and secret letters.
Lastly glue white paper with shapes cut out over the pink paper that has the tape and silver paint. Glue other embellishments and writings as desired.
