Measure out a piece of the first colour of material. This will cover the middle part of the book with a small part at either side. Neatly cut it out making sure that the line is straight.
This will be the middle section of fabric.
Put a line of glue along the edge of the book and hold down the felt until it becomes secured. Repeat for the other side of the book.
Now cut out two pieces of the second colour of material. These pieces will have to be big enough to cover the front and back covers. Stick them down and trim any excess at the edges.
You can also stick a strip of ribbon to the front and back. This will tie to make sure that nothing can fall out of your book.
To decorate I took my heart and circle templates and used them to cut out pieces of the third colour of fabric.
I made these in alternate colours and sewed little love heart messages in to the heart. Stick them together and then stick them to the front of the book.
