• 

  Step 1

  Take the 30mm Gold round blank and tape it to the steel bench block. Next, using the bottom of the top piece of tape as a line guide, start stamping your letters into the blank with your stamping hammer. (Everyday our love grows)

  Step 2

  Use a sharpie and fill in the letters. (It gets messy, so don't worry if it gets on the rest of the blank.)

• 

  Step 3

  Use a polishing cloth to wipe away the extra marker.

• 

  Step 4

  It should look like this when your done.

• 

  Step 5

  Take the 36mm Natural Brass round blank and place it in the DecoEmboss die sandwich and run through your Sizzix machine. (If you do not have a Sizzix machine then you can buy an already embossed charm.)

• 

  Step 6

  Using the black side of the reliefing block (heaviest grit), gently rub the raised part of the embossing to reveal the brass color. Then, use the white side of the reliefing block to polish the brass you just revealed.

  Step 7

  Use the head pin and place through the leaf bead hole half way and twist. Wrap the wires around each other a few times then make an eye loop on one end. (See below on how to make an eye loop.) Then cut the second wire with the flush cutters.

  To make an eye loop: (a 3-in-1 tool really helps with this)
  1.Bend one wire 90 degrees towards yourself with the chain nose pliers.
  2. Next, using your round nose pliers begin making a loop by rolling your hand away from your body. (Don’t try to make the entire loop in one movement.) Roll your hand 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
  3. Without removing pliers from loop, open pliers blade slightly and pivot pliers back toward your body clockwise about 1/4 turn.
  4. Close pliers onto the wire and roll the loop until it comes around, next to the 90-degree bend.

  Step 8

  Now for the necklace part.

  Gather your ribbon and cord and set in your crimp cord. (You can glue if you like, with jewelry glue.)

  Step 9

  Fold one side in using your chain nose pliers.

• 

  Step 10

  Repeat with the other side so that the ribbon and cord are inside the crimp cord. Use the 4.75mm jump rings to attach the crimp cord to the chain and the crimp cord to the lobster claw.

  Step 11

  Use the 7.25mm jump ring to put the embossed brass piece, the gold piece and the leaf onto the ribbon.

  Then.......vwal-la!! A super cool necklace.
