Yeah. So that is a guy in the photo. He decided he wanted to wear it more than me. Hahaha he pulled it off pretty well to loool! I didn't have alot of time to make it so I needed something easy and cheap to make. It was a"R18" themed party so instead of going as a skanky nurse or dominatrix like some of the others I decided to be violence not nudity. I carried a decapitated wolf (soft toy) in my basket. Heh heh! Not had a chance to wear but hopefull they'll be another party soon.

Description

Instructions

  1. The skirt I brought full length from the op shop for about $6ish. I simply cut it off to the length I wanted.

  2. The hood I made from a hoodie pattern I had. I ignored the jumper pattern and just used the hood. Kind of winged the cape from there. Turned out OK.

  3. Brought a white puffy "bat wing" style shirt from the op shop again. Around $4.00

  4. The hardest part was the "corset" style band. Again (hah) a cheap black stretchy shirt brought from the op shop ($3.00) and cut the straps off-so left with a tube that sits round waist. I cut a rectangle of red gingam fabric and sewed on the middle of the black tube.

  5. This next part is a little trick to explain so bare with me. Starting at the side of the red gingam cross to the other side (would eventually make a criss cross corset style kinda thing) fold the ribbon over and work up and continue (means you don't have to cut and sew-can do it all on peice)Pin in place and sew the lace up covering the folds from the ribbon (hope you got that? sorry otherwise)

  6. The apron again-I just kinda winged it. Cut out an aprony shape and sewed lace (the same used down the side of the corset) on the edges. I sewed it again to the bottom of the 'corset'. Done! Wear it with pride at your beautiful handmade outfit! -KXO
