I came up with this idea when i was eating an ice cream and thought 'I can make one that doesn't melt!' So I did, and this yummy icecream was my project! Hope you like it.
First, get your stuff. You will need: - a glue gun - a plastic or paper cup - paint in the color you want it to be - papier-mâché stuff
Cut the cup in half so you'll have two parts, you will need the bodom, that still looks like a cup. My cup is about 4 cm high. Now, start papier machéing it (also the inside) and let it dry.
for the ice cream you'll need a disco ball, or just something round and foamy. Cut it in half. start papier-mâchéing this one too. then let it dry. Don't make it to big otherwise it won't fit in your cup!
when these two parts have dryed, paint them. The ice cream part, an icecream color and the cup doesn't really matter. I painted the cup white. And the icecream strawberry pink. after you've painted let it dry.
Then comes the hardest part, making two things that are supposed to look like whipped cream and a chocolat. To make these two things i used a glue gun. To make the whipped cream you'll have to start by letting a little bit glue dry on a paper. Then, swirl glue around this glue so it will become to look like whipped cream. then paint it white (i used nailpolish) To make the chocolat, grab a piece of paper and make lines with the glue gun. then paint it black.(nailpolish)
glue these two things (whipped cream + chocolat) on to your icecream part. If you'd like to you could add a spoon. to make this one, you will need a long bead(or something like that). On one end i glued a gitter on it. then glue it on your whipped cream. Now start making a spoon shape with your glue gun.(it should look like your spoon is in the icecream) when your done paint this one silver/grey.
